Due to the effects of COVID-19 on all our plans, RYLA 2020 was cancelled. The Alumni team for 2020 will now serve for the 2021 RYLA camp.

My name is America, I attend Tustin High School. I am a aquatics athlete for my school and I enjoy being involved in my community as much as I enjoy popping open a fiction or classic book anytime. I am also a friendly nice person who is always willing to help anyone and I’m eager to build new friendships and meet new people everyday. Fun fact: I collect keychains from places I travel to or for special moments in my life.

Hello! My name is Diana Di Ciaccio. I’m originally from Gaeta, Italy and I’ve been living in the US for 4 years. I’m a senior at foothill high school and I’m excited to be an Alumni for RYLA 2020. Music always makes me happy, and if you need to know one thing about me it’s that I hate raw tomatoes. I love to sing and hang out with my friends and family. Next year I’ll be studying neuroscience and I aspire to be a neurologist.

Howdy campers, my Name is Ian Stellhorn and i come from Trabuco Hills High school. I am a member of a film class and assist my teacher in directing plays for drama students. I have a strange nack with accents and thoroughly enjoy spending time with people. This year especially I have been trying to participate in as many activities as I can manage. My favorite endangered animal has to be the Tiger, not only because of its ferocity and beauty, but also because it reminds me of the already extinct Tasmanian tiger.

My name is Jaqueline Moran. But I liked to be called Jackie. I go to Fullerton Union High School. I am involved in First Generation Club as the President and Co-President for the AVID club. I am a Black Belt and I have been doing it for 6 years. I started when I was in 7th grade.

I’m really excited for you to experience all we have planned for RYLA 2020! RYLA has given me the opportunity to meet so many amazing individuals and I’m so thankful for it. A fun fact about me is that I have quickly growing collection of cool but funky earrings.

Hi my name is Shae Menchaca and I go to Trabuco Hills High school. I am apart of the Medical Science program and I serve as the vice president. I am also the president of the Peer Assistance Leadership club and I love meeting new people around campus. Out of school I love spending time with my friends, family and dogs. My hobbies include scrolling through TikTok and eating Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. My favorite places are the beach, the mountains and my bed. I love Thai food and drink way to much milk tea with boba! Well that’s all for me! I can’t wait to meet you all at camp! It will surely be one of the best experiences!

HI my name is Savannah Schlottach! I’m a senior at Brea Olinda High School where I play varsity water polo and I’m senior class president. Some fun facts about me are: I’ve known how to swim since I was 9 months old, I can sleep literally anywhere, and I can pick things up with my toes. Next year I plan to go to Cal Poly Pomona or San Diego State University and major in Hospitality. I hope to then pursue a career in event planning. I am so excited for RYLA 2020 and I can’t wait to see all the campers in April!!

RYLA was so amazing in helping me learn how to communicate, build team work skills, and really get me out of my comfort zone. Hi, I’m Valerey Evans and I am currently a senior at Irvine high school. I’m President of my schools interact club, stage manager of this year’s school musical, and a member of ASB I also run on the cross country and track team. I decided to become an alumni this year because I wanted a way to impact those around me positively. In my free time, I enjoy bike riding, running, playing with my dog, and spending time with my friends.

Outside of school, I enjoy collecting records, CDs and cassette tapes. I also like sewing, writing, and hanging out with friends and family. I am so excited to be a part of the RYLA alumni!
