Who is this application for?
This application is for High School Students (juniors or sophomores this year) who are under 18 and would like to attend the next RYLA Camp.
Before starting you will need:
1) The name of a nearby Rotary Club that will sponsor you.
2) Your parent’s consent
3) a picture of yourself to upload.
COVID-19 Protocols: RYLA 5320 CAMP WILL FOLLOW ALL CDPH COVID REGULATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR YOUR SAFETY AND HEALTH AT RYLA CAMP.
Time Commitment:
April 14 to April 21, 2024 – Sunday to Tuesday and Friday to Sunday
hours: Sunday 2:00 to 5:00pm, Monday 5:30 to 8:00pm, Tuesday 5:30 to 8:00pm, Friday camp bus leaves @ 8:30am, Sunday bus returns at 4pm
Applications are closed for 2024
On-line portion of camp:
1) reliable internet access.
2) use of a computer (Chromebook, PC, Laptop with a webcam)
3) use of a cell phone or tablet (IOS or Android) to install an APP.
4) a room or quiet area in the home where you can participate in the RYLA activities.
On-site portion of camp in Idyllwild:
- Sleeping bag/pillow
- Personal toiletries and medications
- Bath/hand towels
- Layered clothing & closed-toe shoes for mountains
REQUIREMENTS REQUIRING PARENTAL CONSENT:
a) Your parent or guardian MUST APPROVE this application by signing electronically above.
b) Your parent or guardian full contact information must be included above.
